Chris Dobkins

Chris Dobkins is the Founder, President, and CEO of Njevity, Inc., the creators of PowerGP Online, and one of the most passionate advocates for Dynamics GP in the industry. He founded Njevity in 2001 with a simple mission: improve the life and success of customers and partners through exceptional business application experiences. Twenty-five years later, that mission hasn't changed. Neither has his commitment to GP.

Under Chris's leadership, the Njevity team built PowerGP Online into the premier cloud experience for Dynamics GP users, a modern, authentic GP Cloud experience that includes purpose-built additions like PowerGP Banking, PowerGP Connect, and PowerGP Import. His latest project, PowerGP Payments, brings AP payment automation to GP in a way that's more secure than checks and easier to set up than anything else on the market. Think Venmo for Business, built specifically for the way GP handles payments.

Chris has also had the privilege of architecting two of the largest Dynamics GP cloud deployments in North America: a 600 concurrent user private cloud solution, and a 400 concurrent user deployment on Microsoft Azure, the first of its kind at that scale.

More recently, Chris has been deep in the intersection of AI and Dynamics GP, exploring how AI can extend and enhance GP. At Njevity, he uses AI daily as a working CFO tool, analyzing financial performance, trending customer and vendor relationships, and surfacing insights that used to require hours of manual work in GP and Excel. His sessions bring that real-world, hands-on perspective directly to GP users who want to understand what AI can actually do for their business today.

Beyond the technology, Chris is a founding member of the Knights of GP, a community-led cooperative bringing together GP customers, ISVs, consultants, and advocates who believe the future of Dynamics GP should be shaped by the people who use it to run their businesses every day. No forced migrations. No rushed decisions. Just a community committed to making sure GP has a strong, supported future well beyond 2031.

When he's not defending GP's honor, Chris can usually be found asking too many questions, building Star Wars Legos, and trying his best to make the people around him laugh.
