Harris Jennifer
For over 30 years, Jennifer Harris has been a noteworthy leader in the ERP space. Her love of finance and technology brought upon the creation of Technology Management Concepts, a Microsoft Partner specializing in implementing Microsoft Business cloud applications for midmarket companies.
Being one of the first women in a male-dominant industry and with a background in finance – Jennifer and her late partner, Brenda Diener co-founded TMC during the revolution of personal computers to help businesses implement accounting software solutions.
Jennifer’s passion for learning, and constant change, has kept her and TMC relevant and growing over the years. This has allowed her to be a part of three different digital transformations. From the adoption of personal computers to the current Cloud computing wave.
Jennifer’s held many positions at TMC, from Vice President of Consulting to her current job as CEO/President. Her strongest skills surround finding the best talent and working with her team to create a positive work environment, which named them to Inc Magazine’s 2022 Best Workplace in the USA List. In addition, Jennifer has received numerous awards recognizing her for her leadership, including “Top Women-Owned Business,” from the Los Angeles Business Journal, and “Leader of One of America’s Fastest Growing Companies,” from INC5000. She was also nominated for the 2023 LA Times B2B Inspirational Woman of the Year and The Channel Co. CRN Role Model of the Year Awards.
Passionate about allyship and equal opportunities for the underrepresented in her community, Jennifer has long been involved in organizations and sponsorships that address the gender gap in the technology industry. Her initiatives include creating the Brenda Diener Memorial Scholarship for Women in Tech to encourage young women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and medicine. Being a sponsor of various Women in Tech organizations including the Annual AAUW Long Beach STEM Career Conference which promotes 7th and 8th-grade girls to become involved in STEM. Jennifer has spoken at events like the 2023 Women in Tech Reception at the Dynamics Community Summit in North America and has also been a guest on podcasts including Next Wave Leadership, Women in ERP and the Common Sense Marketer.
As a female business owner, she brings a unique perspective to a Technology firm, and it is her goal to have a team that reflects her values as TMC grows.
Jennifer is originally from Miami, Florida but currently resides in Hermosa Beach, California, and attended the University of Florida. When she is not working, her hobbies include reading, taking long walks on the beach, attending sporting events, music festivals, and traveling to new places.
