Kerry Hataley

Kerry Hataley has been working with SQL and database technologies since 1981, with a résumé that spans Btrieve, C-Tree, IBM Db2 (System R), dBase, FoxBase, FoxPro, Sybase, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server, among others. His Dynamics GP journey began in 1994 — back when the product was still Great Plains Accounting, which he ran on a Mac with C-Tree databases. Three decades later, he remains a familiar presence in the ISV and Partner community, where he's affectionately known as "that SQL Guy."

Through his company, Nanook Software, Kerry applies unique, out-of-the-box techniques to build innovative, seamless integrations into the Dynamics GP ecosystem from virtually any data source. His expertise covers Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft SQL Server, project management, software development, financial reporting, ERP implementations, and AI tools including Claude and Copilot — along with a continued passion for SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). He develops in Dexterity, .NET, and SQL, to name just a few.

Since 2023, Kerry has served as the Dynamics GP Community Leader with Dynamic Communities, where he actively champions and supports Dynamics GP customers and partners.
