Inam Iyoob

Inam Iyoob, Ph.D is VP of Supply Chain Analytics and COO at Data Crafters, a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Partner specializing in data engineering, analytics, and AI solutions built on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. He holds a Ph.D in Applied Operations Research from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Science from Oklahoma State University, with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of supply chain, freight market intelligence, and enterprise data platforms.

Prior to Data Crafters, Inam served as Global Freight Market Intelligence Principal at DAT Freight & Analytics, where he built machine learning models to predict freight costs across Truckload, Intermodal, and LTL modes. At Chainalytics, he led the FMIC Products division, developing cost prediction and procurement optimization frameworks for major shippers. Earlier in his career he held engineering and director-level roles at Transplace, redesigning supply chain networks for enterprise clients. He also served as Adjunct Faculty in Supply Chain Management at the University of Arkansas.

Inam is a practitioner speaker and industry contributor, having presented at CSCMP and regularly sharing insights through podcasts, white papers, and industry events. At Data Crafters, his teams deploy Microsoft Fabric and AI-powered analytics platforms for manufacturers and energy services companies across North America.
