AL is a programming language utilized to develop and enhance the capabilities of Microsoft's Dynamics 365 Business Central enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Join us on a journey that takes you through creating and developing solutions powered by Business Central. This two-day session is designed to provide a fundamental understanding of AL programming and how to extend the functionality of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.


This session will take you on a journey that encompasses

  • Overview of Business Central Architecture
  • Learn about the different components that make up a typical extension
  • Overview of Source Control Management
  • Set up a Development Environment
  • Extend Business Central with Table and Page Extensions
  • Develop solutions within Business Central using Tables, Pages, Codeunits, Queries, and Reports
  • Create APIs to allow for integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Advance Preparation: Laptop running Microsoft Windows 10 or 11. Application and configuration rights on the laptop.
