Day 2
If you are the person that needs to write reports, extract data or get information from the Dynamics GP system, YOU NEED TO BE HERE! The class is intended to teach you and develop real world SQL queries against the Dynamics GP database.
These queries and views can then be used as the bases for any reporting you want to develop using other tools like PowerBI, SSRS, Excel Refreshable, Excel Pivot and many more.
By developing these complex queries and views you allow for a common one stop view that can be used by many different reports. You will learn how to find and connect your Dynamics GP data and how 3rd party ISV products can affect this.
If you are not a Dynamics GP person, but are using SWQL, you will still benefit from the deep query building and view building that is taught in this class, only the data names have been changed... to protect the innocent. :-)
Learning Objectives:
1. Learn where and how to find the Dynamics GP Data quickly and simply
2. Develop real world, take home queries and views for many modules
3. Understand how 3rd party products effect the Dynamics GP data
